The science of obstetrics and Gynaecology deals with the health and disease of the female reproductive system inclusive of pregnancy and birthing.

OBGY department at VHL is functional since it’s inception. Upgradation of various diagnostic and treatment measures has been made from time to time to keep the department abreast of the advancing science.

Vaginal and operative deliveries and all kinds of gynaecological surgeries are being done routinely (including Laparoscopic surgery). The department runs special clinic for antenatal patients.

The department is working carefully to give best possible service to the patient to have a healthy baby with healthy mother as a final product.

The department performs the gynaecological surgeries under standard protocols giving uneventful post operative period and a speedy recovery.

Facility of NICU is available for low weight babies.
