Casualty department is one of the very busy departments and it is at the hub of the hospital activities. It works almost round the clock. All patients who require emergency and prompt treatment and those who are seriously ill are first of all brought to casualty department.

Most of the Paediatric, Gynaecology, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedic patients are firstly examined by the RMO or the consultant in the casualty department. After primary examination and emergency treatment, the patients are shifted to respective wards or theatre as per advice of the consultant
